Calgary Cubs Athletes Selected for 2026 Alberta Summer Games

The Calgary Cubs are proud to recognize two athletes who have been selected to compete at the 2026 Alberta Summer Games Baseball Tournament in Strathcona County from July 16-19.

Kane Austin will represent Zone 2, while Vladimir Alaica has been selected to represent Zone 3.

The tournament will feature 128 athletes from eight zones across Alberta competing in round-robin play before advancing to the medal rounds. Games will be held at Centennial Park and Strathcona Athletic Park.

Selection to the Alberta Summer Games is a significant achievement and reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment both athletes have shown to the game. The Calgary Cubs congratulate Kane and Vladimir on this accomplishment and wish them the very best as they represent their zones on the provincial stage.
