Calgary Cubs ID Camp
An ID camp is an optional preseason session where coaches get an early look at players before the official tryouts. It also gives players a chance to experience the pace, structure, and expectations of a real tryout in a lower-pressure setting.
While it’s not required, an ID camp can be especially valuable if you’re new to the organization. It helps players get comfortable with the coaching style, meet other athletes, shake off nerves, and understand exactly what coaches will be looking for on tryout day. For coaches, it provides an extra opportunity to see a player’s skills and potential growth.
